The hideous red carpet.
The red carpet isn’t as inviting as it once was. Let’s get that out of the way. Books will never move away from paper. Yes, there will always be new media that comes out but the paper is staying for good. New media such as the iPad are incredible devices and many places are seeing the use in them and they can implement them to provide people with other choices. I hope that the iPad is used for its many uses as it would be great in libraries and the use could be fantastic. Maybe if people chose to pay $5 when they used it or there could a credit system where people earned credits. I think it would be fantastic. The ipads can be configured very easily with an application that can allow what content is on there.
